The slim is slimmer and has brighter screen there is just those two models.

The spring loaded umd holder and second model the newer one dont have the newer one dont have the same some call the redesign slim and some will call it slim between the spring loaded umd holder.

There is also a video output port, more memory, less battery capacity, and it’s lighter in terms of weight. They’re also trying to turn it into a phone by using Skype.
